Mrs Brown's Boys is set to return for a special Christmas episode this year. The show is returning after not having a full season in ten years.
Earlier this year, the show brought out four new episodes for fans of the classic sitcom to enjoy. It is not yet fully clear what plotline will be followed in this year's Christmas special.
However, we can expect it to be the same chaotic ride we've come to expect from the sitcom. A BBC description of the special states: "All Mrs Brown wants is a nice, peaceful Christmas, but the family have other ideas!
Cathy’s decided to cook Christmas dinner for the first time ever, a sentimental decoration has gone missing and there's a surprise dinner guest, all of which have the potential to ruin Agnes’ quiet Christmas." Mrs Brown's Boy's Christmas special, Mammy's Mare, will air on Monday, December 25 (Christmas Day) at 10:45pm.
