King Charles III is set to address the nation in his annual Christmas speech. Since taking over the throne in 2022, this will mark his third Christmas speech as head of state.
The King's speech usually focuses on the major events of the year, as well as any issues that are currently affecting the country.
Although unclear what his focus will be for 2024, it offers the King a chance to reflect on what Christmas means to him, as well as the listeners and viewers.
Since 1960, the speech has been pre-recorded, and in last year's the King spoke of "shared values across different religions", and how in times of wars it's important to remember the things that unite us as one.
