‘Love meets doubt. Fear meets joy. Boy meets boy.’ So reads the logline for new LGBTQ+ coming-of-age comedy drama Heartstopper, which is set to land on Netflix tomorrow (Friday, April 22).
The eight-part series is based on the bestselling graphic novels from Alice Oseman, which first found popularity as a Tumblr web comic.
Its online audience has been patiently waiting for the story to make the jump to the screen - after Netflix confirmed it had started production on the show in January 2021.
A trailer released earlier this month has given an insight into the series - with many already praising it for its LGBTQ+ representation.
