It’s 17 years to the day since Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira’s infamous tunnel bust-up, which became one of the biggest moments in Premier League history.
The incident occurred as Manchester United and Arsenal prepared to make their way out at Highbury ahead of their meeting in 2005.
As the cameras cut to the tunnel for the usual shot of the teams walking onto the pitch, Keane could be seen furiously shouting at Vieira, telling the Gunners captain “we’ll see you out there!” It’s a moment that has gone down in history, and became a flashpoint in the two teams’ rivalry under Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.
