Manchester City star Jack Grealish cut a frustrated figure after the final whistle sounded at Goodison Park after a tangle with Everton defender Nathan Patterson.
Grealish and Patterson went toe-to-toe throughout the 90 minutes as City resumed their Premier League charge with a comeback victory on Wednesday night.
Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez and Bernardo Silva netted in that 3-1 win for Pep Guardiola and his newly-crowned world champions.
Guardiola's side were 1-0 down at the half-time break after City-schooled Jack Harrison, who made his way at the Etihad Stadium between 2018 and 2021, opened the scoring.
