There’s been a rise in staycations this summer as some Brits remain uneasy about heading abroad amid the coronavirus pandemic.The Prime Minister gave holidays in England the go-ahead from July 4, and while hotels and B&Bs were able to open, a number opted to return to the great outdoors in booking a camping and caravanning holiday.One keen caravanner who was eager to book a pitch on the reopening day was Lee Davey, who has been a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club for 15 years.The 49-year-old travels to the club’s sites around 20 times a year with his wife and two children - Poppy, 18, and Charlie, 12, and their American bulldog, Max.However the 2,700 sites have undergone a number of changes with the introduction of coronavirus.
