The singer-songwriter sadly passed away in January at the age of 54. She is said to have undergone a procedure known as bariatric surgery several years prior.
According to the Los Angeles County Coroner's report, her cause of death was related to the medical procedure. The reports reveal her death as being caused by a small bowel obstruction, stating that the exact condition is 'sequelae of small bowel obstruction'.
On the day of her death, it was reported that Lisa Marie complained of pains in her stomach. Paramedics performed CPR on her at her home in Calabasas after she suffered a cardiac arrest, before being rushed to hospital, on January 12.
