Innocent will return for a second series tonight (May 17) at 9pm and follows schoolteacher Sally Wright, who was convicted of murdering 16-year-old pupil Matty Taylor – with whom she was also accused of having an affair.
She was sentenced to a minimum of 15 years in jail but viewers will see Sally released after five years in prison for the crime didn't commit when the four-part series begins.
