The English striker, son of late Arsenal and Everton forward Kevin, was considered by both Glasgow giants in January 2020 but eventually decided to stay at Stoke City and focus on making his mark in the English Championship.
However, he struggled to make an impact at the club and left as a free agent at the end of last season with a record of 36 goals in 164 appearances.
But back in 2020, things were very different for the forward as he turned down a move to Ibrox - as well as rivals Celtic - to stay at the bet365 Stadium.
