David de Gea has been back in Manchester this week - but it appears certain he will not be returning to Man United. The 32-year-old left the Old Trafford outfit over the summer following the expiration of his contract, subsequently being replaced by United manager Erik ten Hag with £43.8m man Andre Onana.
However, the Cameroonian has struggled since stepping in between the sticks for United having made some high-profile errors.
Ten Hag has so far stuck behind his new first-choice 'keeper, but De Gea's return to Manchester got fans excited about a potential return.
The Spaniard has been linked with a return to his homeland, with reports also suggesting he could follow Cristiano Ronaldo to Saudi Arabia, but a move is yet to materialise.
