Chelsea Handler made a joke about Colin Farrell during her opening monologue while hosting the 2025 Critics Choice Awards on Friday (February 7) at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 45-year-old comedian took a moment to highlight the 48-year-old actor’s process of getting into character as Oswald “Oz” Cobb/The Penguin in the series The Penguin.

Chelsea then said, “Still, I would hit those flippers!” Also during her monologue, she also mentioned Ralph Fiennes and his various roles, but still finding him attractive in each one, comparing Nickelodeon and World War II in reference to Ariana Grande and June Squibb, and much more.
