Maura Higgins clearly isn’t paying any heed to the so-called Strictly Curse that has ended so many relationships over the years and has wished boyfriend Giovanni good luck ahead of the first live show.

The TV personality took to Instagram to cheer on her dance pro beau and his partner, EastEnder’s star Rose Ayling-Ellis, with a sweet message saying that she has every faith in them pulling off their routine. ‘The very best of luck to you beauties tonight… I know you will absolutely smash it’ she captioned a picture of the dance partners in action on her Instagram story.

Rose has made history as the show’s first-ever deaf contestant and wasted no time in reposting Maura’s message with the addition of several love hearts.
