The German saw his team record their first win under his tenure on Sunday when they eased past Burnley 2-0, thanks to goals from Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.
Tottenham, meanwhile, followed up last week's 3-1 defeat at home to Liverpool with a 1-0 loss away at Brighton, after his "sad" team put in a "not very good" performance.
Those results mean Spurs have won just two of their last nine league games. Harry Kane is again ruled out, though could be back for next week's FA Cup tie with Everton.
