Timo Werner has discussed a positional change under Thomas Tuchel which he believes will get the best out of him. The German has struggled for form since joining in the summer from RB Leipzig.
His compatriot will be keen to get him firing again and has begun playing him in more of a number 10 role. Rather than Werner playing as a winger, he is being deployed in a slightly more central position which gives him more variety.
And the 24-year-old has found the switch beneficial as Tuchel begins to gets his ideas across. "Every manager is different in how he wants us to play," Werner told the club's official website. "He gives us a lot of ideas.
