Pupils are being sent home this morning after the heating failed in their school for a second day.St Kentigern's Academy in Blackburn was closed yesterday as engineers attempted to fix the heating.They had got it up and running, but has broken again this morning.
A West Lothian Council spokesperson said: "Unfortunately St Kentigern’s Academy will be closed today to pupils. "Engineers managed to get the heating working yesterday afternoon but it has again stopped working earlier this morning."Parents/Carers should now have received a Groupcall message."Pupils will still be able to access previous learning materials online through Microsoft Teams to study/consolidate prior learning."Where some pupils had arrived at school, prior to the heating breaking down again, the school will be in touch with parents to advise on the arrangements for getting pupils home.""We are very sorry for this inconvenience" Don't miss the latest news from the West Lothian Courier.
