Wendy Williams 'Permanently Incapacitated' Due to Early On-Set Dementia, Guardian Says in New Legal Docs

Wendy Williams‘ guardian has shared an update on her health and it doesn’t look good. The 60-year-old former talk show host is now “cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated,” according to a memo filed with a judge this month.

An attorney for Wendy‘s guardian Sabrina Morrissey submitted the legal doc to a New York court in November. Keep reading to find out more… “[Wendy Williams Hunter], an acclaimed entertainer who, tragically, has been afflicted by early-onset dementia and, as a result, has become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated,” the letter stated (via Page Six).

It was previously reported in May 2023 that Wendy had been diagnosed with aphasia and dementia. She has been under a legal guardianship since 2022.
