Wendy Williams
Wendy Williams Hunter (born Wendy Joan Williams; July 18, 1964) is an American television host, businesswoman, media personality and author. Since 2008, she has hosted the nationally syndicated television talk show The Wendy Williams Show. Prior to television, Williams was a radio DJ and host and quickly became known in New York as a "shock jockette". She gained notoriety for her on-air spats with celebrities and was the subject of the 2006 VH1 reality TV series The Wendy Williams Experience which broadcast events surrounding her radio show. She was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2009.

Wendy Williams is on the mend and preparing to return to her talk show despite her recent health struggles. A source tells ET that the 57-year-old TV personality is on track to be back for the season premiere of  next month.“Wendy is home and improving every day,” the source tells ET.

Earlier this month, revealed that the veteran host tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19. The program then subsequently postponed its Sept.

20 season premiere date to Oct. 4.«To allow Wendy time to quarantine and fully recover and to ensure that our production abides by the SAG/AFTRA and DGA Covid protocols, we expect to begin the 13th season of The Wendy Williams Show on Monday, October 4th,» read a statement on the show's official Instagram.
