‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Wraps Production and Debuts New Look at Jenna Ortega’s Signature Frown

In a new photo from Season 2 of “Wednesday,” Ortega is seen frowning her and crossing her arms against a spooky outdoor backdrop — potentially a cemetery — with a gothic gate and two robed statues carrying lanterns behind her.
This is the first photo from the Netflix series’ second season, though the streamer previously released a behind-the-scenes clip.
Netflix released the photo just after production on Season 2 wrapped in Ireland. The season is set to premiere in 2025. “Wednesday” follows the titular character’s journey at Nevermore Academy, where her parents, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (Luiz Guzmán) first met 25 years ago.
In Season 1, Wednesday worked to master her emerging psychic abilities while tracking down a monster terrorizing the local town.
