The UK is ringing in 2025 with a chilly blast of snow and ice set to cover the country within hours, but one part of England might just dodge it.
At the time of writing, a Met Office yellow weather warning for snow and ice blankets all of England from midday Saturday, 4 January until 11.59pm on Sunday, 5 January.
Almost every corner of the nation is predicted to be covered in snow, with fresh maps from WXCharts revealing a snow wall stretching from Devon in the far south up to the far north of Scotland.
However, according to these charts and the Met Office website's maps, Cornwall seems likely to avoid the snowfall and instead experience heavy rain.
