Music lovers will enjoy the new We Will Sing documentary so be sure to stick it on your watch list this Christmas. The new fly-on-the-wall live docu-gig was produced to help raise funds for Peter McVerry Trust and Simon Communities.
Viewers will see director Scott Altman showcase what happened when Dublin – and its most legendary music venue – closed its doors on a winter’s night, only for the mother of all impromptu sessions to unfold.
Serendipitously in Whelan’s at the time, Scott and co-producer Mark Hogan started recording the legendary Irish musicians in their element with everything from a trombone to a string quartet involved.
