Two years ago, a girls' night out in Manchester's Northern Quarter ended in terror for a group of women. One was sexually assaulted and another slapped as the pair desperately tried to make the man responsible leave their flat.
The prime suspect for the attack still remains at large. It is suspected the victim had her drink spiked before she and two friends were followed by a man as they left a bar.
Callously he gave the impression he was concerned about the state of the victim, who was semi-conscious, and walked them to their apartment in the Green Quarter and invited himself in.
During several hours inside the flat the man attempted to rape the victim and hit her friend. Ten months ago, GMP made a major appeal in the Manchester Evening News for help to identify a man who they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
