Manchester is set to be hit by a mini heatwave next week with temperatures expected to reach 20C. The sun will shine down on our county with lots of bright weather predicted ahead.

Starting Monday (September 16), we're expected to enjoy a pleasant start to the week with mostly sunny skies and temperatures reaching a comfortable 19C.

Tuesday will also see sunny skies with highs of 20C again, a similar story for the Wednesday and Thursday following. The sun is set to return on Saturday (September 21) with bright skies, highs of 20C and a gentle breeze. Temperatures will finally dip on Monday (September 23) with highs of 17C, lows of 9C, sunny intervals and light winds.
