Despite some apparent light at the end of the tunnel, a selection of town centre bar owners are still too wary to open up on Monday (April 12).

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has confirmed that England can move to Step Two of the lockdown roadmap on April 12 - meaning outdoor hospitality can return, along with non-essential retail, gyms and other outdoor attractions.

There is still a sense of trepidation for the majority of publicans in the centre of Bolton. They're in no rush to open their beer gardens or put tables and chairs on the pavement just yet.
