One of the latest face treatments to launch is SkinStorm, by skincare and salon treatment brand Crystal Clear – and it has already proved popular with celebrities such as Mel B, Vicky Pattison and Kym Marsh.
The facial involves six customisable treatments delivered via various nozzles and tools, all stemming from one high tech machine (if you’ve ever had a HydraFacial, it looks similar).These stages are: deep cleansing, exfoliation through both dermabrasion and an acid peel, microneedling, a plumping skin “filler” pumped at high pressure deep into the skin – “like Profhilo without the needles” is how Crystal Clear founder Sharon Hilditch describes it (although it obviously doesn’t penetrate the skin as deeply as the injectable) – and LED light therapy.
