A couple who paid £4,000 for two sets of 'Turkey teeth' have warned others not to get them - despite their new smiles getting all sorts of compliments.
Jade, 33, and Kelly, 31, Tushingham jetted off to Antalya in September 2022 to have veneers fitted. But the pair were left in agony following their respective operations and struggled to eat or drink properly.
They were lured to the Eurasian nation by the cheap dental prices and wanted to combine the work with a holiday in the sun.But Jade and Kelly say the decision has "ruined their lives" and they are making a desperate bid to encourage those who want to follow suit NOT to get the work done, Manchester Evening News reports. The couple, from Chester, visited a private clinic near their hotel the day after they arrived.
They had X-rays taken and were given local anaesthetic before dentists filed down their gnashers to "shark teeth", bringing them "instant" pain. They waited in the reception for five hours before they were both fitted with temporary veneers.
