Ellen DeGeneres announced that she would be leaving her long-running daytime TV talk show, The Ellen Show, and now her replacement for the slot has been chosen.
It was decided that The Ellen Show would come to an end next year, after a 19 season stint, as the host said that her decision behind this was driven by ‘instinct’.

This handover to The Kelly Clarkson show will take place in Autumn 2022, with the programme being owned and produced by NBC’s syndication arm.
