A Facebook group is helping people who are in self-isolation by assisting them with daily tasks they can’t do themselves. The Levy Corona Helpers group is an online hub where people in Levenshulme can go to either find support while in isolation or offer to help those in need.
Set up by a bunch of friends from the area, the group now has over 600 members. “There’s always been a great sense of community in Levenshulme,” Karen Clark tells the Manchester Evening News.
A project manager for the NHS, Karen set up the group with friends Carey Bamber and Sue Mcpherson after seeing a similar group online.
