deadline.comAMC Networks International has installed Antonio Ruiz, Warner Bros. Discovery’s former UK and Ireland General Manager, as its boss in Spain and Portugal.
Ruiz will become Managing Director and Executive Vice President of AMC Networks International Southern Europe. Eduardo Zulueta, President of AMC Networks International, said he was a “formidable addition” to the team.
Ruiz served as WBD’s General Manager in UK and Ireland for a short period of time, reporting to former EMEA boss Priya Dogra.
He was previously General Manager for Spain, France, and Portugal at Discovery prior to the WarnerMedia and Discovery merger.
