Taylor Hawkins paid tribute to his craft in his final on-camera interview. Hawkins appears posthumously in the newly released trailer for the upcoming music doc. The Foo Fighters drummer died on March 25, 2022 at the age of 50. In the film's trailer, Hawkins beautifully recalls the first time he ever played the drums. «The second I sat on the drums, it was like a bolt of lightning went through my body,» he says in the film.

Just a week ago, it really did look like Hulu’s long-awaited series, “Devil in the White City,” was coming together nicely. Not only was Keanu Reeves set to make the jump to prestige TV dramas for the series, produced by Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, no less, but Todd Field was aboard to direct.

Over a decade ago, Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way partnered to bring “Devil In The White City,” the true story of America’s first serial killer, Dr. H.

Keanu Reeves will not be starring in Hulu’s “The Devil in White City” after all, with Variety reporting that he’s exited the project.

The Devil In The White City, according to sources.The Matrix star was first attached to the role back in January of this year, with Hulu’s upcoming take on Erik Larson’s 2003 book set to mark his first major US TV role.The big-budget adaption of The Devil In The White City has been through various stages of development since Leonardo DiCaprio bought the film rights to the book back in 2010. DiCaprio now serves as an executive producer on the project alongside Scorsese, with the adaptation previously set up as a feature at Paramount.According to Variety, Reeves will now no longer participate in the series, and representatives for both the actor and Hulu declined to comment thus far.

Producers for the upcoming limited series, Devil In The White City, are on the hunt for a new leading man once again.Deadline is reporting that Keanu Reeves, who was announced to be attached to the Hulu production in August, will no longer star in the series adaption.So far there's no official word on what prompted his departure from the drama that's being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese. Joe Otterson TV Reporter Keanu Reeves will no longer star in the Hulu series adaptation of “The Devil in the White City,” Variety has learned exclusively from sources. The show was first put into development at Hulu in 2019 and was officially ordered to series at the streamer in August 2022. It is based on the book of the same name by by Erik Larson. Per the official logline, the show “tells the true story of Daniel H. Burnham, a demanding but visionary architect who races to make his mark on history with the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair, and Dr. H. H. Holmes, America’s first modern serial killer and the man behind the notorious ‘Murder Castle’ built in the Fair’s shadow.”

Keanu Reeves is no longer attached to star in the upcoming Hulu series Devil in the White City.
