Scots WWE star Drew McIntyre had to have fluid drained from his knee minutes before he took to the ring.The Ayr-born superstar showed the dedication it takes to wrestle at the highest level before he performed on Friday Night Smackdown live on Netflix.
The 39-year-old had to endure the procedure before facing off against bitter rival Jimmy Uso. The Scottish Warrior recorded the moment the massive needle was injected as yellow liquid was pulled out of his knee.
He shared the footage on Instagram with the clip shared across social media. The procedure took place just 45 minutes before the three-time world wrestling champion was brawling his opponent.
McIntyre posted the following caption: "This is my knee being drained of fluid 45 minutes before my match. Wish me luck."The ex-WWE Champion went on to lose the fight to Uso, who beat him with a Roll-Up.
