2024 benefit concert for Steps Of Faith – a non-profit charity “providing prosthetic care, hope and comfort to amputees needing financial support”.Actor and comedian Sudeikis co-founded the annual event with drummer Billy Brimblecom in 2017.
The latter lost his left leg to a rare form of cancer in 2005, as Spin notes.Flavor Flav was joined on the line-up by Sudeikis himself, “Weird Al” Yankovic and more at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Missouri.According to Setlist.FM, the Public Enemy co-founder played two of the hip-hop group’s classic tracks on the night: ‘Bring The Noise’ (1987) and ‘911 Is A Joke’ (1990).For the first song, Flavor Flav invited Sudeikis to perform alongside him and his live band.
He has since shared fan-shot footage of the collaboration, writing: “FLAVOR FLAV::: TURN IT UP, cuz we BROUGHT THE NOISE!!!“WOOWWW, Jason Sudeikis got down like that and was absolutely incredible!! #ThunderGong can Bring the Noise.”Steps Of Faith has also posted a professionally shot video of the team-up on YouTube.
