Ed Sheeran made a surprise appearance during The Offspring‘s set at BottleRock Napa Valley 2024 over the weekend – check out the footage below.The singer-songwriter joined the band onstage to sing and play electric guitar on ‘Million Miles Away’ from their 2000 album ‘Conspiracy Of One’ on Sunday (May 26).
It marked the first live outing for the song since 2016, per Setlist.FM.When introducing Sheeran, The Offspring frontman Dexter Holland told the audience (via Consequence): “Ed told us that one of our records was his first CD that he ever bought when he was a kid.“That really meant a lot to us, so we thought, ‘Wow, we’d love to have you come out to join us on stage’.
We’re gonna play one of the songs you wanted to play.”Sheeran has since posted a video of himself rehearsing backstage with Holland and co.
