Wannabe Corrie star plasters face on Media City billboard in bid to get cast in the soap

An aspiring Corrie star has plastered her face on a billboard at Media City in a bid to be cast in the soap. Mariama Binta Bojang, 27, took action after struggling to find roles despite 100 auditions in the last seven months.

In her a desperate bid to find work, she paid £1,000 for two billboards - one near to the Salford studios where Coronation Street is filmed, and another in Leeds, next to the Emmerdale set.
