cinema chains in the UK will reopen more branches in Scotland later this month. Vue and Cineworld cinemas in Scotland were forced to close back in March at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
Both firms have been preparing to welcome back film buffs since they were given the green light to reopen by the Scottish Government from last month.
The chains have now revealed when they plan on inviting guests back in. Vue’s branch at Edinburgh Ocean Terminal was the first to open on August 7 this month as part of the firm’s phased reopening.
Cinemas at Glasgow Fort, Livingston and Stirling will reopen on August 21. A further three Vue branches in Aberdeen, Edinburgh Omni Centre and Inverness will open five days later (August 26).
