Per TMZ, witnesses who saw the fight claimed Kennedy “grabbed” the woman, but officers didn’t see visible injuries on her.Kennedy and Lewber, 28, were at Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party the night of the incident.

The woman involved in the alleged interaction has not been identified.Kennedy was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence and later released on a $20,000 bail.

His attorneys addressed the arrest on his behalf on Friday.“We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James,” the statement obtained by People read. “We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”“The investigation determined it was a domestic incident, leading to [Kennedy’s] arrest,” the spokesperson went on. “[Kennedy] was booked for misdemeanor domestic violence and later posted bail.
