Vogue Williams says ‘Spencer’s parents nearly died’ after son almost given unusual name

Vogue Williams has shared a hilarious anecdote about how her eldest son Theodore almost ended up with a very unconventional name, but husband Spencer Matthews' parents "nearly died" when they heard it.The Irish TV personality and her former Made in Chelsea star husband Spencer met on The Jump in 2017.They welcomed Theodore into their family the following year.

On her Vogue and Amber podcast, Vogue has now revealed the youngster almost had a very different name. It came as Vogue and sister Amber Wilson were asked what they thought the prettiest name was.

The name Theodore is said to come from the Ancient Greek name Theodorus.

It is said to mean "God's given" or "gift of God", reports Bristol Live. However, Vogue confessed that she has a soft spot for more unusual names, including Sailor, which she "loves" but isn't allowed to use.
