Those who fly with Virgin Atlantic may have noticed their themed salt and pepper shakers. The quirky items are handed out to customers alongside their meals and bring a little bit of fun to the flight.

They look like tiny little planes wearing a pair of shoes. Due to their unique look and functionality, they are loved by many travellers, reports the Star.

However, they may be loved too much by some, as they are commonly stolen from the flights. Since their introduction, the little shakers have become somewhat of a collector's item, and some of the pepper pots are even listed on eBay for £25 a pop.

But it seems Virgin Atlantic may have included a little surprise in the design of their mini plane shakers.
