The Dutch centre-back will likely miss the majority of the rest of the season after suffering the injury against Everton. The club refused to give a timetable on his return, and didn’t want to rush him back.
He’s posted a few updates on social media, having jetted out to Dubai for some warm weather training and recovery. Van Dijk shared footage just before Christmas of himself doing some keep-ups in a gym, as well as clips of him lifting weights.
