Virgil van Dijk has said Liverpool's experiences this season will serve as the perfect motivation to go again and retain their Premier League crown.
Liverpool ended their 30 year wait for a top flight title this term and won a 32nd games of the season at Newcastle. Van Dijk scored their equaliser at St James' Park before Divock Origi and Sadio Mane added to ensure a 3-1 win.
Liverpool have been relentless in their pursuit of the league title and looked like champions in waiting for months. The Premier League has only been retained once in the past decade but the Dutchman doesn't envisage motivation being an issue.
