Drake seemingly attacking a spy drone with a sandal in a hotel is thought to be a promo stunt for a casino.Drake is currently in the middle of his first Australia and New Zealand tour in eight years, a 14-date jaunt that will wrap up on March 16 in Auckland.

It was during this tour that the clip, which shows a drone getting up close to the musician, went viral.The drone goes up to a laptop which is on an outdoor table.

Drake then steps out onto the patio before throwing a sandal at the drone. The footage then breaks up, showing what looks to be a penthouse in Sydney, Australia.Drake later shared a screenshot from the video to Instagram, where he nodded to online casino Stake, writing: “The stakes are high…but so am I”.
