Violent thug knifed man and then left woman with fractured ribs while awaiting court appearance

Declan Smith, 26, was drinking and socialising with three people at a property in Wigan on February 12 2021. At around 6am the following morning, he became involved in a row with another man who was in attendance.
During the disturbance, Smith punched the man repeatedly, before then picking up a knife from the counter and stabbing him in his side.
