City moved into the last-eight of the tournament after Tuesday evening's comfortable 3-0 win at Bristol City. Phil Foden netted a brace against the Championship outfit on a brilliant night for the 22-year-old, with Kevin De Bruyne rifling in a third.
And Pep Guardiola will now have to prepare his side to face Championship leaders Burnley and former captain Kompany in the last-eight, with the fixture to take place at the Etihad on the weekend of March 18 and 19.
Burnley defeated Fleetwood 1-0 on Wednesday evening to make it through to the quarter-finals. RATINGS: Dias and Foden brilliant in win vs Bristol City have made it to all of the last four semi-finals, but have fallen at that stage in all of the last three campaigns.
