Vin Diesel looks fiery as he gets back into character as Dominic Toretto for Fast X filming at Colosseum in Rome

for the 10th Fast and Furious movie, which is currently filming in Rome.The actor, 55, looked right at home as he rehearsed scenes by the Colosseum, striding down the street (and presumably making a grand declaration about family).The soaring temperatures are clearly having an impact, as the car on set had its windows blocked out in an attempt to keep out some of the heat.Seemingly not too fazed by the scorching weather himself, Vin looked deep in concentration while getting into character and, between scenes, he could be seen cracking a smile as he chatted to crew members.

Fans were thrilled when Vin revealed that Fast X, the penultimate film of the franchise, had begun filming in April, with the star confirming its official title.Jason Momoa, who will be a newcomer to the cast for Fast X, was seen jumping right into filming, as he takes on a ‘flamboyant villain’.The Game Of Thrones star looked like a natural as he was spotted clad in leather trousers and a snake skin jacket and filmed riding a black and red motorbike down a cobbled street in the Italian capital.Meanwhile, the franchise only gets more star-studded, with the likes of Brie Larson and Rita Moreno joining the cast.Fast X hasn’t had a smooth journey so far, after director Justin Lin quit just days into production.In a statement shared on social media, Lin said: ‘With the support of Universal, I have made the difficult decision to step back as director of Fast X, while remaining with the project as a producer.‘Over 10 years and five films, we have been able to shoot the best actors, the best stunts, and the best damn car chases.‘On a personal note, as the child of Asian immigrants, I am proud of helping to build the most diverse franchise in movie history.‘I.
