A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after falling off his bike before colliding with a van in Bury. Police were called out to reports of a crash in Tottington yesterday evening (July 31).
Emergency services raced to the scene, on Chapel Street, at around 5.30pm. Greater Manchester Police says the male motorcyclist involved had fallen from his motorbike.
Police say a van then collided with the motorcyclist, whose age has not been confirmed. He was rushed to hospital for treatment following the smash. Police closed off the road in both directions while the scene was cleared on Sunday evening, while eyewitnesses reported seeing a fuel spillage on the road.
