A vile pet owner has avoided a ban from keeping animals despite repeatedly kicking her dogs and pushing their heads to the concrete ground.
A drunk Lyndsay Netherton, 40, was spotted by a horrified passer-by attacking the two Staffordshire Bull Terriers , named Sasha and Alfie.
The witness was so concerned by the incident in Northumberland that she called the police, and officers soon attended the scene, a court was told, Chronicle Live reports.An officer's body-worn camera footage then appears to show an aggressive Netherton in such a state that she can barely talk or stand as she rants and swears.Netherton was arrested and went on to plead guilty to being drunk and disorderly but she denied two counts of animal cruelty.
However, she was convicted after trial and was in the dock at South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court on Wednesday to discover her fate.
