And he even left with an unexpected offer from Alison Hammond. The presenter was back fronting the show alongside Dermot O'Leary when the excited pair welcomed the Scottish singer into the studio.
Sat on the famous sofa, Lewis spoke to the ITV daytime show's hosts about his new Netflix documentary, How I'm Feeling Now, which sees him open up on his mental health struggles. "I got approached about [the documentary] in 2019, before Covid, and I had a good 2019," the Someone You Loved singer recalled about being asked to do a behind-the-scenes film. "At the time they were like we'll do it and come and do a victory lap of my year.
I was like yeah I'm gonna look like a hero! And then Covid happened. It's actually quite a depressing documentary, to tell you the truth," he then added in his usual self-deprecating style.
