Victor Osimhen to Manchester United transfer boost amid Real Madrid 'intervention'

The Nigerian centre-forward was pushing for an exit from the Naples club last summer, after deciding he wanted a new chapter.
However, that move did not transpire as Napoli drove a hard bargain. With Osimhen facing the reality of playing the first half of the season in the reserves, he agreed to join Galatasaray on loan due to their transfer window remaining open an extra week.
In Turkey, the forward has flourished notching 17 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions. Despite suggestions he could leave the Istanbul club in favour of a permanent switch to a club in Europe's elite leagues, Osimhen has remained a Galatasaray player for the conclusion of the campaign.
