Vicky Pattison shares crying picture from hospital bed saying 'scary' admission is ‘wake up call I needed’

Vicky Pattison has shared a further health update amid her "scary" hospital stay.The 36 year old had revealed earlier today that she is in hospital after some fans worried when she had gone quiet on social media.

Vicky had revealed that she hoped to be released from hospital today, but has now said that she might be under medical supervision for longer.

She also opened up on her health, revealing she has been working to a “punishing schedule” in recent months and "ignoring" all the warning signs that her body needed a break.This has now resulted in the star getting glandular fever, a big infection and an abscess in her throat – something Vicky said is “the wake up call I needed”.The former Geordie Shore star opened up in a lengthy post on Instagram, along with pictures of her in a hospital bed, hooked up to a drip, while her fiancé Ercan Ramadan joins her at her beside.

A candid snap also sees Vicky in tears. She wrote: "Definitely not the weekend I was intending on having.. I was anticipating being up mount Snowdon for gods sake. "Don't even know really to start, but I feel like I dropped that stupid story to let a few people who were concerned about my radio silence know I was being looked after & then loads more people just worried, which was never my intention, you're all too kind btw.
