Vicky Pattison plans on freezing her eggs next month to put starting a family on hold, but says the £10,000 fee is unfair for what ‘should be a basic human right’. The former Geordie Shore star has been in a happy relationship with boyfriend Ercan Ramadan for three years.

However, the 34-year-old doesn’t want to push her 28-year-old partner into having children prematurely and has therefore decided to freeze her eggs to allow for future family planning.

Speaking to Vogue Williams on her own podcast, Vicky explained: ‘I know I should probably get a move on and I can’t remember who I was speaking to really recently, but the penny dropped.
