Kamala Harris has tested positive for COVID-19. The 57-year-old Vice President of the United States’ office announced the news on Tuesday (April 26) in a statement. “She has exhibited no symptoms, will isolate and continue to work from” her residence at the Naval Observatory,” a spokeswoman for VP Harris shared.
The statement continued, “”She will follow [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] guidelines and the advice of her physicians.” The VP will plan to return to the White House once she was testing negative.
She has previously had both of her COVID-19 vaccines and the booster shot. VP Harris‘ diagnosis comes just a few weeks after her husband, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff tested positive for the virus.
